Stereophonics Help Give Young Fan A Birthday To Remember
As many of you know, Stereophonics have been on Twitter for a few years now and mainly use it as an outlet to give fans information.
However, earlier today the bands Twitter account – controlled by Richard at the time – not only made a rare tweet to one of their fans but gave him a belated birthday present of following his account – the first and only the band have followed.
Cory Davison, 8, from Blyth near Newcastle, who was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour early last year made the request to Stereophonics twitter just a few days after he shared his 8th birthday with his brother Cain.
@1CoryDavison it would be our honour Cory! Hope you are doing well. RJ x

The brave young man, who met the band last year, claimed it was the best birthday present ever.
You often wonder when bands or celebs have Twitter accounts do they ever read through their mentions or replies or just have their PR or management filter it for them, but in cases like this where the band reply first hand – just taking the time to do something as simple and reply and follow a fan, when it means so much in return, you can’t help but smile.
Happy birthday Cory & Cain!
